Rob Dougan - The Fast & The Furious Angels

Rob Dougan is an artist that most of you will have heard of, or at least heard his music. He is most known for his work on The Matrix & Matrix Reloaded soundtrack. His work is heavily influenced by film in my eyes (and ears) and if I kept my CD cases I could confirm this fact. I urge you to track down his album, Furious Angels, especially the 2 CD version which has a instrumental version of the album. You see Rob D does sound a bit like Chris Rea when he sings and this is not for every ones taste.

All I know is that this is an album I keep revisiting, with many of the tracks reminding me I do have a heart. The track simply titled 'Instrumental' can even bring a tear to my eye.

As for the video, well Black Hawk Down is one of the greatest films ever made, and this music seems to fit. That's my Sunday afternoon gone then as I'll have to watch it now. Buy 'em both

I don't get this. That scene from Black Hawk Down has music by Stevie Ray Vaughan who covered Voodoo Chile by Hendrix?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well it is utoob and i think it works. Plus I couldn't embed the video for Furious Angels which is what I really wanted. Ultimately that music goes better with a video to me doing the washing up in British Road. Happy Days.
